Introduction to "Lost Casting"! *A casting method that does not use molds.

Introducing "Lost Wax Casting"! Achieve low cost and short delivery times for even the most complex shapes without molds! *Prototyping available.

"Lost Casting" is a casting method that does not use molds, developed independently by New Tech. Its characteristic is that it allows for the production of castings from a single unit without the need to create master models, inverted molds, or wooden patterns. Since a base mold is not required, it can accommodate short lead times for casting production. Additionally, if only 2 or 3 pieces are needed, it is more cost-effective to produce castings than to create wooden patterns. 【Features】 ■ The product shape is created as a lost model ■ No need to consider mold splitting ■ Suitable for small lot production of about 1 to 5 units ■ Castings can be made as long as there is 3D data ■ It is also possible to produce castings of different variations one by one 〇 Adoption Examples ・Head Cylinder ・Intake Manifold ・Exhaust Manifold * The head and exhaust manifolds have a WJ (Water Jacket) shape * For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Lost-wax casting process

As long as you have 3D data, it is possible to produce a single casting!

We would like to introduce the manufacturing process of "Lost Wax Casting." The feature is that we do not create base models such as wooden patterns or inverted molds that are necessary for producing castings. As long as we have 3D data, we can produce castings starting from just one piece. The manufacturing method begins with creating a lost model from the provided 3D data. Next, the completed lost model is embedded in a mold, and heat is applied from the outside to make it disappear within the mold. This creates a cavity in the shape of the product inside the mold, allowing us to pour metal into it and produce the casting. 【Manufacturing Process】 1. Receipt of 3D data 2. Creation of lost model 3. Installation of mold frame ⇒ Pouring of gypsum slurry ⇒ Hardening 4. Firing ⇒ Completion of mold 5. Casting 6. Mold collapse ⇒ Finishing 7. Completion of casting *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
